The El Segundo Co-op Nursery School program believes in creating a climate in which a child can develop his/her strengths and talents at his/her own pace and rate, accept him/herself as an individual as well as a member if a group, and develop his/her ability to make choices and assume some responsibility for his/her learning.

Learning takes place in an environment that the child can trust in; an environment that has supportive adults and one that encourages questions, creativity, decision making and problem solving by the children.
